What we collect
When you submit an enquiry or quote request through this site, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (where provided)
- Company/organisation name (where provided)
- Details of your enquiry or project
If you sign up to our mailing list, we also collect your email address for that purpose via MailerLite (see "Who we share it with" below).
If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, general location by region, device type) - see our Cookies section below.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- To deliver services you've engaged us for
- To send marketing communications, only if you've opted in (e.g. via our mailing list signup)
- To understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve it (only with your consent)
Our legal basis is legitimate interest (responding to business enquiries) or consent (marketing emails, analytics cookies), depending on the activity.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry/contact form data: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, then deleted, typically within 6 years to align with standard UK business record-keeping
- Mailing list data: retained until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) - if you consent to analytics cookies
- MailerLite - if you sign up to our mailing list
- Any subcontractor or partner directly involved in delivering a job you've engaged us for, where relevant to that job
Both Google and MailerLite may process data outside the UK/EEA under their own standard contractual safeguards - see their respective privacy policies for detail.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from marketing, or change cookie preferences via the "Manage Cookies" link in the footer)
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we've mishandled your data
